What is numerology name correction?

How is the name number calculated in Chaldean numerology?

Each letter of the full name is given a value from 1 to 8 using the Chaldean chart (A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, E=5, F=8, G=3, H=5, I=1, J=1, K=2, L=3, M=4, N=5, O=7, P=8, Q=1, R=2, S=3, T=4, U=6, V=6, W=6, X=5, Y=1, Z=7). The values are added and the total is reduced to a single digit by adding its digits together.

What is Moolank (Mulank)?

Moolank, also written Mulank, is the root or psychic number. It is the day of birth reduced to one digit. Someone born on the 23rd has Moolank 5 because 2 + 3 = 5. It describes natural personality and instincts.

Bhagyank is the destiny or life path number. It is the sum of all digits of the full date of birth reduced to one digit. For 14-03-1995 it is 1+4+0+3+1+9+9+5 = 32, and 3 + 2 = 5.

Why is the Chaldean system used instead of Pythagorean?

The Chaldean system assigns values by the sound vibration of each letter rather than by alphabetical order, and it leaves the number 9 out because it is considered sacred. Most Indian numerologists use Chaldean values for name correction.

Which name numbers are considered lucky?

There is no single lucky number for everyone. A name number is considered good when it is friendly with your Moolank and Bhagyank. Numbers 1, 3, 5 and 6 are the most commonly recommended, while 4 and 8 are usually avoided as name numbers.

Do I need to change my name on legal documents?

No. Most people start by using the corrected spelling in their signature, social media, business cards, email and daily use. Changing official documents is a personal decision and is not required to use a corrected spelling.

Will my name sound different after correction?

Usually not. Good name correction changes the spelling, for example by doubling a vowel or adding a silent h, while keeping the pronunciation the same.
